Later -Twyl Saturday, March 11, 2000 Following last update lots of junk has happend in Norrath. General-Crazy-Ness is at an all time high of 14.5% (ME - .12%). What does this mean for the drunks? It means Teeney left =P He fell victim to what we refer to as the "Bret effect" whereas he sat down and thought "what the hell am I doing" and, being sober, came up with a reasonable answer. Also, Surten (Souls) and Straka (Insert Last Name Here) fought giants recently, and Surten came up with a brilliant painting of Straka in one of his more vulnerable moments. It can be found in the screenshots section. As for me (Twyl) I think I may start putting more time into this site, maybe make some more sections and other various fun things. One fun thing was jumping off a tree in Tox forest. I took screen shots and made them into a sort of mini-movie. This is mainly for you drunken whores who wanted one (yeah, you know who you are). An update of the guildstatus; Bretten left to go get a soulfire, and with him some other people left- so I am not sure how many we have now... Someday soon (or maybe not soon... gonna be too busy not updating the site to update it) I might update our roster, take off the old names and throw in the new (yeah, I think we have 1 more or 2 people that joined). It is aptly titled "What Bretten and Twyl do when the EQ servers are down" -Twyl Monday, September 06, 1999 I entered Misty Thicket that day, FBR ad JMan boots-a-plenty. Er- I had them. And I left without either, but I WAS NON PVP! That's right, I finally got turned back non pvp. It felt so damn good to buff Sarora. I purchased about 360 Short Ale's (Halflings have nothing stronger) and got a bunch of newbies Drunk, and while Gorg was running from some Deputies (Gorge is a level 34 Ogre Shaman) he and I executed a perfect mid-run refueling. Passing some beer from me to him. Sarora was the only other drunkard there and she was also the person who got the most drunk. Personally I didn't get too drunk because I still wanted to be able to cast spells to amuse the newbies. I was going to take screenshots but because I realized you couldn't really tell what was going on in a screen shot there was no reason too. At the end of the evening three of us were dead. Sarora who died while attacking the barbarian with his "curious" hands. Myself for attacking the deputy who killed Sarora. And finally the barbarian with those hands died of grief after both Sarora and I had died. This was also great publicity for our guild, all in all it was fun, but I am still mad that I got the longest -pvp quest I have heard of. Hamza got the hardest- at level 28 or so he had to go into Solusek B and get a staff of Writhing AND get exp for it. I wish him luck. One thing to mention is after two weeks of waiting I finally talked to Ka`Tavir and she informed me that I have to actually get the final killing blow on Najena to go non pvp. Plus my Bio now has some nice pictures of cool spell effects. As for in game news, Bretten just made 39 and Nuava continues to excel in fletching, while her Archery skill reamins at 11. heh. Plus we have a new feature on the site. I visisted the brownie town this afternoon. With a few spells the judged me amiably and it was safe to go in. All the "a brownie" brownies were green. And all the merchants and guards were red. The farmer was green or red- I forget. But the farmer also had some pets! Check out the feature here. See you in Norrath! -Twyl Wednesday, August 25, 1999 NEW GUILD GUIDELINES:   The Guildmasters have gotten together and came up with this new guild rules to make the guild interesting..  Here are the Rules: All Drunkards must carry no less then 20 of their choice of alcohol.  This will ensure that he/she has their own "potions of stupidity".  We want members to carry alcohol with them at all times so that they can share in the drunken fun that we have at times. When a solo adventuring Drunkard should meet a fellow Drunkard from the guild there will be a "Drinking of the Drunkards".   This means that When your traveling solo and your run upon a fellow solo guild member you will stop and have a Few (NO LESS THEN 5!!!) drinks of any alcohol.  This is be a good fun way for us to be the Drunkards that we are.  If these Drunkards that meet do not have any alcohol because they have a hollow leg then these Drunkards must Drink double the next time that they should meet. And one thing adding to our officialality is that one our members [Apocress/Tyersis] is sending a news letter to a our members. It's a great touch to the guild. As for EQ stuff- right now I am REALLY hyped because I have completed the non pvp quest and as soon as Ka'Tavir checks her e-mail she can set up an appointment for me to meet the Prist of Order- it will be wonderful. We got some more members and many of our members have noticed how random people will come up to you and say "Cool Guild!". It's a great way to get attention. Site Related News- I think I will redesign the news page with a smal bar to the right containing recet updates to the site so you know where and where not to go.
